Celebrating its seventeenth year, Nuart Festival - one of the world’s leading celebrations of street art - returns to Tou Scene Center for Contemporary Arts to stage the festival’s main indoor exhibition from Sunday 3 September.

12 artists from 10 countries spanning 4 continents will transform the vast beer halls of the former 19th century brewery with murals, sculptures, interventions, multi-media installations and more.

The exhibition space consists of seven 15m x 15m x 5m tunnels, an interconnecting tunnel and large entrance hall. Artists are encouraged to work directly on the walls with high-quality lighting and production ensuring a museum-quality exhibition.

Tou Scene also boasts one of the finest collections of outdoor work in Stavanger created by visiting artists who have spilled out of the tunnels to produce unsanctioned works in the surrounding area. This is the meeting point for our street art tours, which take place every Sunday at 14:00.
